How Does Customization Work?

After placing your order, just follow these easy steps:

1. Submit Your Artwork, Photo or Logo
Email your artwork, photo or logo to us. See Artwork, Photo & Logo Guidelines below for acceptable formats and design specifications.

2. Review & Approve the Proof
Within 48 hours of placing your order, we'll email you a proof of the card you selected with all of your customization details. Want to tweak your text or image? No problem...we’ll make sure you’re completely happy with your design before printing. Once you approve your proof, we’ll start printing.

3. Rest Easy
After you approve your proof, your order will ship within 10 business days.

Artwork, Photo & Logo Guidelines

Accepted Files
Submit as a 300 dpi JPG, Adobe Illustrator file or PDF. You can email your arwork, photo or logo to us after placing your order.

Artwork Guidelines
This card is 5x7. If your artwork is meant to print edge to edge, the file will need a small bleed added. This means extending your artwork by 0.125 inches on every side so the final file measures 5.25 x 7.25 inches, which ensures clean edges with no borders. Thanks!

We use a 4-color (CMYK) print process, so we are able to print any and as many colors as you'd like to use in your design, with the exception of white. Any white areas in your design will "knock out," appearing the same color as the card on which your artwork is printed.

We recommend that you choose hues for your artwork that are similar to those that you see used in the wood cards on our website. This will ensure the colors in your artwork will print well on wood.

Also note that there will be a degree of transparency in the printing, depending on the ink color. Lighter colors are more transparent and allow the wood to show through, while darker browns, reds and greens print more opaque.
